Startups and Innovators:Â Get a fellowship and up to $100k for your energy storage innovation
The NYSERDA-funded empowerST Fellowship Program will support your storage innovation through salary and research funding, key connections, world-class lab space, and commercialization guidance. The program will utilize key resources at Binghamton University and Koffman Southern Tier Incubator to develop successful energy storage technologies and startups in New York State. If you are an academic innovator or a promising energy storage startup looking to grow, this program is for you!
Over the course of the 2-year program, the fellows will receive:
- Competitive salary
- Up to $100,000 total support for their R&D efforts
- Entrepreneurship training and startup support
- Technical mentorship under world leaders in battery research
