The office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Partnerships (E&IP) at Binghamton University is proud to manage many elements of the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator facility as well as the programming offered within. It is E&IP’s mission to foster and promote entrepreneurship both on and off campus, providing resources to aid in the success of local entrepreneurs; students, faculty, staff and community members alike. The programs offered at the Koffman Incubator provides mentorship and strategic guidance to promote a startup’s true potential, allowing them to positively impact the local community and the world as a whole.

Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (TAAC)
serving New York, New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico

Since 1978, the Trade Adjustment Assistance Center of NY, NJ and PR (TAAC) has helped over 1500 firms to recover from the effects of foreign com­petition and has provided more than $75 million in assistance. The TAAC is a non-profit organization and is administered by The Research Foun­dation of the State University of New York at Binghamton University. The TAAC is one of eleven regional centers located throughout the United States providing assistance under the Trade Adjustment Assistance for Firms (TAA) pro­gram sponsored by the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC). Firms that have experienced increased foreign competition, a decline in sales or production, and a de­cline or impending decline in employment, the TAAC may be able to help improve the firm’s competitive position in today’s global economy.

We provide assistance to New York, New Jersey and Puerto Rico based companies in strategic areas of importance including:

This assistance is provided by both the TAAC professional staff and by independent industry specialists and consultants.
